To bring anything into your life, imagine that it’s already there. Immerse yourself in the energy of what you desire..
Being able to clearly visualize a situation in which your life is happy with Herpes sounds like a daunting task, but really it’s not all that difficult. We all want positives in our lives and Herpes sufferers all want to imagine an existence where the virus doesn’t affect them in any negative way.
Everyone who suffers from Herpes wants to get rid of them, but what if we could get rid of them using just our imagination? The mind is an incredibly powerful tool and you’ll be surprised how easy it is to achieve these visualizations, and what benefits they will bring to your life.
The visualization scene
You’re comfortable and you’re in the right place. Now you have to get your mind in the right place.
- The first thing you should do is think about all the aspects of your life. There are many: professional, personal, family, health, education are just but a few.
- Write them all down. Make an exhaustive list that you can use for a long time.
- Choose one of these aspects as a starting point.
- Think about a goal for this aspect of life, short-term or long-term, and write it down in a few words or a line.
It’s likely that these goals are all negatively affected by the virus when you have an attack. The aim here is to picture the scene without letting Herpes affect it. Imagine yourself in each situation with Herpes and how you’re ignoring that you have it, but the situation has a positive spin. Let’s look at some visualization examples to help you picture, in your mind’s eye, your own scenarios:
Goal – I want a promotion.
You have Herpes and you’re going to work. You’re happy and you greet your colleagues in the same sociable way you always do. You get some great news from your boss, he calls you into his intimidatingly big office to tell you that you’ve been promoted. Your pay is going to be a lot higher, you’ll have more challenging work to do and very little time to think about Herpes.
Goal – I want a romantic night out without feeling self-conscious.
Your partner takes you out, and even though you have Herpes you feel beautiful outside and in. Your partner takes you to one of the nicest restaurants in town and as the first glass of wine arrives they take your hand, look right into your face and smile, feeling less and less worried you smile back and enjoy the evening, during which they tell you several times that they love you.
Exercise and fitness
Goal – I want to go to the gym without feeling paranoid everyone is looking at me.
You put on your best gym clothes and arrive feeling energized and ready to sweat. After warming up your body and saying “Hi!” to a few acquaintances you head to the treadmill and end up running for fifteen minutes longer than you normally would. The people you usually talk to while jogging are staring at you in disbelief. You step off feeling amazing and the endorphins have gone to your head.
The above situations still involve you having Herpes but they have brought about positive outcomes, and that is the goal here. Picturing your life prospering without letting yourself be held back Herpes is quite easy really, isn’t it? Writing down clear goals and imagining yourself achieving them is rather exciting too.
Word of Advice
You should strive to choose one aspect of your life and one related goal every day and spend as long as you want visualizing it. Maybe one of the scenarios is longer than the one you did yesterday, it doesn’t matter as there is no set time. The most important thing is to visualize the scene so that it is vivid, detailed and real for you, remembering to pick it up from where you left it the next day you deal with that particular aspect.
