James Matthew Pullen Dec. 2, 1944 June 23, 2018 The world has one less smile with the passing of James Pullen on June 23, 2018. He was born in San Francisco and raised in Southern Cal- ifornia. He married his life partner, Mary, in 1966 and together they raised their two daughters, Pam and Dawn. Jim served in the U.S.
Naval Submarine Service during the Viet Nam era. Upon his return stateside, Jim became a master wood- worker for 20 years in Portland, Oregon. The family moved to Helena, Montana in 1993 where Jim and Mary started the printing company Neighborhood Office, together they ran it for 25 years. Jim could brighten a room with his smile. Whether or not he just met you, he would make you feel been friends forever.
Jim never knew a stranger and was always the first one to offer helping hand. Jim is survived by his wife Mary of 53 years, daugh- ters Pamela Schaber and Dawn (Chris) Purvis; his four grandchildren; Joshua, Crystal, Aundrea and Shelby, and six great-grandchildren, Aiden, Trinity, Jorden, Phoenix, Emberly and Dorian all of Helena. Also the families of his brother, Greg (Vicky) Pullen, sister, Kathie Pullen, and six brothers and sisters. Jim had a special place in his heart for children and was very involved with the children in the Helena com- munity; as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, a YMCA board member, a past Kiwanis Club President, and an annual participant in the Festival of Trees for Inter- mountain Home. Brian Patrick Sundelius April 7, 1971 June 20, 2018 Brian Patrick Sunde- lius was born April 7, 1971 at 6:30 PM. in Kalispell to John and Marilyn Sunde- lius.
He arrived three weeks late and entered the world protesting loudly! His lungs worked just And that is how he lived his life; pas- sionately! Brian passed away June 20th, 2018 at his home in Montana City. He will be forever missed and if you knew Brian you will re- member him for whatever special way in which he touched your life! Robert Eldon Perry June 21, 1944 June 11, 2018 Robert Eldon Perry, 73, Statesville, NC, formerly of Helena, Montana, died June 11, 2018 at the Gordon Hospice House, States- ville. Robert was born June 21, 1944, to Harold and Isabelle Perry in Vanwert Ohio. Bob served in the Air Force from 1961-1965. From 1966 -1970 Bob raced the Nascar se- ries in Southern California.
In 1970 Bob met the love of his life, Jo Ann Perry and they married a month later and were happily married for 48 wonderful years. Bob opened Auto Re- pair in Riverside California that same year. Bob and Jo Ann welcomed 2 children a son Timmy in 1978 and a daughter Cheryl in 1979. In 1983 Bob and Jo Ann moved to East Helena, MT. Bob worked for Prospector Chevrolet dealership and later Grimes Motors and eventually Bob opened Per- Auto Repair.
In 2005 Bob became a Shriner with the Algeria Shrine Temple in Helena Montana and later became a Mason. In 2008 Bob and Jo Ann moved to North Carolina. Bob is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Perry of States- ville; daughter, Cheryl Hoeger (Fred) of Bozeman, MT; son, Tim Perry (Darryan Preston) of Mooresville; two granddaughters Sarah Fleury Crystal Fleury of Hel- ena, MT; brothers, Dale Perry and Billy Williams; sis- ters, Peggy Perry and Darlene Mann. He is preceded in death by his half-brother, Lawrence Kenny Comer. Bobs remains will be cremated and his ashes will be returned to his beloved Montana to be buried at the VA Fort Harrison at a later date.
Catherine Pat Wieferich Allen April 17, 1925 July 3, 2018 Catherine Pat Wieferich Allen, passed away on July 3, 2018, at Marcus Daly Me- morial Hospital. She was born April 17, 1925 in Townsend Montana. Her parents were Frank and Kate Wieferich, who had come originally from Iowa and settled on a ranch in the Canton valley. Pat was the fifth of four- teen children. She received her early education at the Canton Valley country school and later attended the Broadwater County High School, in Townsend.
All of the family worked very hard during the de- pression, and Pat did her share, milking cows, haying, cooking, and cleaning. She had however, many happy memories of her childhood, living with a big family. They all went to dances and holiday gathering with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pat married Robert T. Allen, in Butte, October 31, 1942, During World War II.
A son Robert was born Dec. 13, 1943. Pat worked in differ- ent jobs around Townsend, while she waited for the war to be over. Robert had joined the Marines and did not return until November of 1945. When Robert came home they stayed on the ranch for a short time, but soon moved to Ringling to work on a ranch for Claude Kiff.
Their second son, Wayne, was born in Townsend on April 14, 1949. The family then moved to Victor, where they even- tually bought the ranch on Meridian Rd. Gerald was born on January 24, 1956, closely followed by brother, Richard on July 1, 1957. During this time Robert worked with the Forest Ser- vice as Fire Control Officer, until he retired in 1979. Pat and Robert had been married 53 years when passed away in 1995.
Pat continued to live in the family home, until shortly before her death. With her husband gone and the boys raised, Pat be- came a volunteer in the community. She served for sev- eral years as president of the Victor Senior Center and spent many hours working for Saint Church. She was president of the Alter Society. Pat was a compassionate, kind, and giving person.
She dedicated her life to her family and community. Her early years were hard as they were for many of her gen- eration, but she worked hard and won the admiration and love of her family and many friends. She will be sorely missed for her easy laughter and kind wit. She is survived by her four sons, Robert and wife Jane, Wayne and wife Ellen, Gerald and Richard and wife Brenda. She has 10 grandchildren Tawny, Tresa, Becky, Dena.
Mark, Wendy, Paris, Jason, Matthew and Nathan. Eleven great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July, 10, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
at St. Catholic Church in Stevensville. A vigil service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednes- day, July 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. also at the church.

HELENA POLICE July 6 4:48 a.m. officers re- sponded to a business in the 3000 block of North Sanders concerning an employee finding danger- ous drugs left by a cus- tomer.
Officers located the customer a short distance away and determined the items left by the 43-year- old Helena male contained methamphetamine. The male was arrested for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs (felony) and booked at the deten- tion center. 3:25 p.m. officers re- sponded to a residence in the 1500 block of East Lyn- dale concerning a possible theft. Officers determined there was no crime com- mitted and no charges were filed.
4:13 p.m. officers were called to investigate a male threatening a female in the 400 block of Euclid Ave- nue. No arrests were made. 5:34 p.m. an officer was called to investigate the theft of a bicycle at a business in the 700 block of North Last Chance Gulch.
The officer is at- tempting to identify the suspect. 6:03 p.m. An officer was patrolling the Last Chance Gulch area and observed a disturbance outside a business in the 300 block of Last Chance Gulch. The officer iden- tified the male creating a disturbance in the busi- ness and determined he had several warrants for his arrest. The 39-year- old Helena male was ar- rested on the warrants and booked at the detention center.
6:41 p.m. officers were called to check on a male lying face down in the grass at a business in the 2900 block of Pros- pect Avenue. The male was cited for Criminal Posses- sion of Drug Paraphernalia and released. 11:01 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a male creating a disturbance at a business in the 2100 block of North Last Chance Gulch.
When officers ar- rived, a male attempted to after a group of people near the front of the business. An officer stepped between the male and the group, af- ter which the male pushed the officer back. The male was taken to the ground and detained, and was injured in doing so. After being examined by med- ical staff, the 52-year-old Helena male was arrested and charged with misde- meanor Assault, Disor- derly Conduct and Ob- structing a Peace Officer. He was booked at the de- tention center.
July 7 2:49 a.m. an officer responded to a business in the 300 block of Euclid concerning a possibly in- toxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle and driver and, after investiga- tion, arrested the 33-year- old Helena male for 1st offense Driving Under the Influence. He was booked at the detention center.
