This system allows you to create a personal profile to align your educational background and career interests with potential opportunities, making job searches efficient and targeted. Symplicity supports streamlined job searches, secure document storage, and simplified on-campus recruiting, letting you and employers manage everything online. It's designed to enhance your career development process, offering 24/7 access to job postings, event calendars, and appointment scheduling, all in one convenient place.

Symplicity getting started guide
- To login go toSymplicity.
- Your username is your complete Washburn University email address (i.e., firstname.lastname@washburn.edu).
- Your password was previously sent to you in an email message.
- For lost or unknown password go toSymplicity, click the "Forgot Password" button or tab, and follow the instructions to have a new password sent to you via email.
You can change the email address associated with your account, which will then change the your username.
- Contact the Professional Development Office to create an account.
- Be sure to thoroughly complete your profile. The information helps us identify alumni with particular interests and target messages appropriately. In addition, you will be able to create search parameters with the job bank and request the system to notify you when jobs meeting your search specifications are posted. Completing your profile also provides access to the entire site.
You can volunteer as amentor to a first-year studentby completing the Professional Network Profile in Symplicity and activating your status. At the same time you can also let us know if you are interested in helping with mock interviewsand other programs sponsored by the Professional Development Office.
